EMCH SHOWS EM’ HOW TO SHINE IN VEGAS

COLUMBIANA OH- Abbey Emch, a senior at Crestview High School, is gearing up for what promises to be an exciting final season of high school volleyball. Known for her exceptional talent and leadership on the court, Abbey has been a key player for the Rebels, helping them reach the regional finals last season. Now, with her sights set on breaking through to the State tournament, Abbey is ready to lead her team with renewed confidence and determination.

This past club season, Abbey spent her time with Infinity 17’s, a team that achieved remarkable success. Infinity 17’s finished the year ranked 2nd in the Ohio Valley Region (OVR) and 34th nationally, a testament to their hard work and skill. The highlight of their season was undoubtedly their trip to Las Vegas for the USAV Junior National Championships. Infinity 17’s delivered an outstanding performance, finishing 5th overall. Both Abbey and her teammate Rylie Simons, from Austintown Fitch, were honored by being named to the all-tournament team, a recognition of their exceptional contributions on the court.

Playing with Infinity 17’s has infused Abbey with even more confidence as she prepares for her senior year at Crestview. The club season was filled with challenging matches where the team often had to come back from deficits, teaching Abbey that no game is ever truly lost until the final point. This experience has fortified her belief in perseverance and resilience, qualities she intends to bring to every match this season. Abbey’s ability to stay composed under pressure and lead her team through tough situations will be invaluable as the Rebels aim for a state tournament berth.

JAMES PLAYS A GIANT ROLE

MASSILLON OH- Leigh James has become a cornerstone of Massillon Jackson’s volleyball program as she prepares for her senior season. Her remarkable journey from a novice to a key player in one of the best club teams in the country is a testament to her talent and dedication. As she steps into her final high school year, the Polar Bears are poised for an exciting season with James leading the charge.

It’s hard to believe that Leigh only picked up volleyball as a freshman. Despite her late start, her rapid progress and natural ability have earned her a crucial role on Infinity 17’s, one of the top club teams nationwide. Her meteoric rise in such a short period speaks volumes about her commitment and skill.

Infinity 17’s is a powerhouse, currently ranked 2nd in the Ohio Valley Region (OVR) and 34th nationally. The team is gearing up for a significant challenge, traveling to Las Vegas to compete in the USAV Junior National Championships from July 3rd-6th. With players like James, they are set to make a strong showing on the national stage.

James is also looking ahead to her future beyond high school volleyball. While she hasn’t decided on her collegiate destination yet, her impressive skill set and potential make her an attractive prospect for any college coach. Leigh has the tools and the drive to succeed at the next level, wherever that may be.

EVERYTHING GETS EASIER WHEN YOU HAVE FAITH

MINERAL RIDGE OH- Faith Schneider wrapped up her high school volleyball career at Mineral Ridge with style and dominance, leaving a lasting legacy. As a key player for the Rams, her skills and leadership propelled the team to new heights, ensuring a strong foundation for future success. Faith’s dedication and hard work have set the stage for the Rams’ bright future, inspiring younger players to follow in her footsteps.

But Faith wasn’t ready to hang up her local volleyball shoes just yet. After her senior season with the Rams, she joined the Infinity 17’s club team to savor one last season playing alongside local talent. Infinity, almost exclusively composed of players from the YSN family, was the perfect fit for Faith. The team is now preparing for the USAV Girls Junior National Championships in Las Vegas from July 3rd-6th. Ranked 2nd in the OVR and 34th nationally, Infinity is a force to be reckoned with.

As the eldest member of the Infinity 17’s, Faith brings the leadership that everyone in Mineral Ridge has come to admire. Her experience and guidance are invaluable to her younger teammates, who look up to her both on and off the court. Faith’s presence on the team is a testament to her commitment to the sport and her ability to inspire those around her.

Looking ahead, Faith is excited to continue her volleyball journey at Edinboro. Her passion for the game and her relentless drive will undoubtedly serve her well at the collegiate level. With a bright future ahead, Faith Schneider is poised to make a significant impact at Edinboro, just as she did at Mineral Ridge and with Infinity.

PRICE IS SET TO COMPETE IN NATIONALS

CORTLAND OH- Lakeview senior Reagan Price has been turning heads in the local volleyball scene for a while now. A key player in the Bulldogs’ offense, Reagan’s talent and hard work have earned her a spot on one of the top club teams in the nation. It’s no wonder she’s a standout on the court.

Reagan plays for Infinity 17’s, a club team that’s making waves. They’re ranked number 2 in the Ohio Valley Region (OVR) and 34th nationally. This powerhouse squad is gearing up for a big challenge, heading to Las Vegas from July 3-6th to compete in nationals. It’s a huge stage, and Reagan is ready to shine.

Next stop for Reagan is Findlay University, where she’s committed to playing volleyball at the collegiate level. Her decision to join the Oilers marks a new chapter in her volleyball journey, and Findlay is getting a top-tier player ready to make an impact.

With her future now set, Reagan can focus entirely on her senior season at Lakeview. Knowing she’s got a spot at Findlay has lifted a big weight off her shoulders. Now, it’s all about leading the Bulldogs and pushing the team to new heights.
