BILLY ISN’T A KID ANYMORE

NORTH JACKSON OH- You won’t find many people that mean more to their baseball team than Jackson Milton’s Billy Sloan.  Over the years we have seen Billy grow into one of the best leaders a coach could ask for.  His drive to be the best on the field every time he steps on the field sets the tone and standard for the team. A leader like that is a coach’s dream, because not only do they help them win now, but their fingerprints will be seen on the program for years after they graduate.  That’s always been Billy’s main goal, simply to make Jackson Milton better.  He has spent his career putting the team’s success over his own. That’s the hallmark of an ultimate teammate, and leader.

Billy’s game speak for itself.  On the field he backs up his words with awesome baseball. On the mound Sloan is the definition of an ace. The Blue Jays will never be out of a game with him on the mound.  His coaches praise his ability to drive the extra step, always wanting one more batter before being taken out of the game.  At the plate Sloan is one of the Jays best hitters. He fits the mold of the saying “pitchers who can rake.”  Anytime you can get out to watch Sloan and the Jays play, make sure to take advantage of the opportunity.

Sloan took the time to sit down with YSN’s Anthony Hartwig to talk about his career at Jackson Milton.  They talk about his commitment to play at the next level, leading this team one last season, and much more. Check out the latest Jackson Milton baseball Player Profile only on YSN!
