ASTROS TAKE TITLE IN BLOW OUT FASHION

STRUTHERS OH-

Drew Kaschak had all the right stuff on Wednesday for Astro Falcons, allowing zero runs and besting Whiting Roll-Offs by a score of 14-0

Astro Falcons opened up scoring in the first inning.  Nick Lewis drew a walk, scoring one run.

Astro Falcons put up four runs in the second inning.  They scored their runs on a double by Lewis.

A double by Ben Miller in the fourth inning was a positive for Whiting.

Kaschak pitched Astro Falcons to victory. He surrendered zero runs on two hits over five innings, striking out one and walking one.

Joey Pugh was on the mound for Whiting. He went two innings, allowing eight runs on nine hits and striking out two.  

Astro Falcons collected 13 hits.  Jay Michael Wrona, Ryan DiLullo, Bo Fornataro, and Jaden Rishel all had multiple hits.  Wrona went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Astro Falcons in hits.

FALCONS SWEEP THE NIGHT AGAINST WHITING

STRUTHERS OH-

Astro Falcons weathered a scare by Whiting Roll-Offs in the fourth inning where Astro Falcons coughed up three runs, but they still won 19-5 on Tuesday.  Whiting big bats were led by Corbin Sevcik, Grant Melder, and Ben Kern, all driving in runs in the frame.

Astro Falcons got things moving in the first inning, when Bo Fornataro singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.

Jaden Rishel got the win for Astro Falcons. He lasted three and two-thirds innings, allowing five hits and five runs while striking out one.  

Cameron Foy led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Whiting. He lasted two-thirds of an inning, allowing five hits and nine runs. 

Astro Falcons scattered 15 hits in the game.  Joey Gentile, Ryan DiLullo, Jake Schneider, Jay Michael Wrona, and Rishel all had multiple hits.  Rishel, Wrona, Schneider, DiLullo, and Gentile each collected two hits to lead.

Thomas led Whiting with two hits in three at bats.

FALCONS SET UP CHAMPIONSHIP DATE WITH WHITING

Roth Brothers watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 17-4 loss to Astro Falcons on Sunday.  The Falcons  scored on a triple by Jake Schneider, a single by Bo Fornataro, a single by Jaden Rishel, a single by Shawn Kristophel, and a double by Jay Michael Wrona in the first inning.

The Roth struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Astro Falcons giving up 17 runs.

Astro Falcons got on the board in the first inning when Schneider tripled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Kolten Ruark got the start for Astro Falcons. He lasted three innings, allowing six hits and three runs while striking out three.

Andrew Kali toed the rubber for Roth. He allowed eight hits and eight runs over two-thirds of an inning, striking out one. 

Kali led Roth with two hits in two at bats.

Astro Falcons racked up 19 hits.  Wrona, Rishel, Fornataro, Schneider, Drew Kaschak, Nick Lewis, and Kristophel all managed multiple hits.

ASTROS UNLOAD ON ROTH BROTHERS

Roth Brothers watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 16-2 loss to Astro Falcons on Sunday.  The Falcons took the lead on an error in the first inning.

The Roth struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Astro Falcons, giving up 16 runs.

Astro Falcons scored eight runs in the third inning.  Their big inning was driven by walks by Kolten Ruark and Joey Gentile, singles by Jake Schneider and Jay Michael Wrona, and an error on a ball put in play by Drew Kaschak and Nick Lewis.

Jaden Rishel got the start for Astro Falcons. He went four innings, allowing one run on four hits, striking out six and walking one.

Logan Baxter started the game for Roth. He surrendered four runs on two hits over one and one-third innings, striking out one.  

John Cambert led Roth with two hits in two at bats.

Wrona went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Astro Falcons in hits.

FALCONS BRING EAGLE WEAR DOWN TO EARTH

Eaglewear lost the lead late in a 13-7 defeat to Astro Falcons on Thursday.  The game was tied at seven with Astro Falcons batting in the bottom of the sixth when Jake Schneider singled on a 2-1 count, scoring three runs.

Despite the loss, Eaglewear did collect ten hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Astro Falcons had 16 hits on the way to victory.

The Falcons got things moving in the first inning.  They drew a walk, scoring one run.

Eaglewear scored three runs in the fourth inning.  The rally was led by a single by JD Memo, an error on a ball put in play by Baron Hardy, and a double by Alex Zordich.

Ryan Dilullo was on the hill for the Falcons. He surrendered six runs on seven hits over four innings, striking out three and walking one.

Dominick Ratkovich was on the mound for Eaglewear. He allowed five hits and five runs over one inning.  

Eaglewear racked up ten hits in the game.  Memo and Zordich each racked up multiple hits.  Zordich and Memo each collected two hits to lead. 

Astro Falcons had 16 hits in the game.  Jaden Rischel, Schneider, Dilullo, Kolten Ruark, and Wrona all collected multiple hits for Astro Falcons.  Rischel went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Astro Falcons in hits.

FALCONS REMAIN UNBEATEN

Avalanche watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 10-1 loss to Astro Falcons on Wednesday. The Falcons took the lead on a double in the first inning.

The Avalanche  struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Astro Falcons, giving up ten runs.

The Falcons opened up scoring in the first inning.  Jake Schneider doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.They then scored three runs in the third inning.  Nick Lewis, Jaden Rishel, and Kolten Ruark each had RBIs.

Rishel was the winning pitcher for Astro Falcons. He lasted three innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out four.  

Chandler Maurice took the loss for Avalanche. He allowed three hits and three runs over one and one-third innings, striking out two.

Santino Piccirilli, David Moyer, and Mark Cattron each managed one hit to lead

FALCONS BRING THE RAIN AGAINST EAGLE WEAR

STRUTHERS OH- The Astro Falcons won a 4 inning game against Eagle Wear on Sunday 13-1. They dropped seven runs in the fourth inning to extinguish any hope of an Eagle Wear comeback.

Nick Lewis had a great day at the plate going 3-4 with 6 RBI. He also scored 3 runs. Scott Eaton went 1-3 with a run scored and 2 RBI. Jaden Rishel went 2-2 with a walk, a run scored, and a RBI.

Nathan May went 2-2 for Eagle Wear he was the only hitter in their lineup with multiple hits. Micah Jones went 1-2 and scored the sole run for Eagle Wear.

Kolten Ruark went the distance on the mound for the Falcons. He went 4 innings giving up 1 run on 6 hits and he struck out 7.

ASTRO FALCONS STYMIE BALLISTIC

Ballistic Baseball had a tough time generating runs on Monday, dropping their game with Astro Falcons.

Kolten Ruark led things off on the pitcher’s mound for the Falcons. He lasted two innings, allowing zero hits and one run while striking out three.

Caleb Saterfield started the game for Ballistic. He lasted one and one-third innings, allowing five hits and six runs while striking out one and walking one.  Dom Elia and Michael Chambers entered the game as relief, throwing two and two-thirds innings and one inning respectively.

Saterfield went 0-for-3 at the plate as he led the team with  one run batted in.

Astro Falcons had 11 hits in the game.  Jaden Rishel, Drew Kaschak, and Ryan DiLullo all had multiple hits.
