COLUMBIANA VOLLEYBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 1) WITH JENNIFER MARTIN

COLUMBIANA OH- Are you starting to feel the excitement in the air? It’s because volleyball is getting closer by the day.  The area is riddled with fantastic talent across the board.  Columbiana is one of those programs that has managed to consistently stack winning programs year to year.  This season the Clippers have a stockpile of athletes returning with experience under their belt.  They want to be the name written at the top of the EOAC when it’s all said and done.  The quest to end at the top of the conference starts soon and head coach Jennifer Martin is putting her hands on the reigns to steer the Clippers to greatness.

Coach Martin was kind enough to give YSN a solid preview of the season with Anthony Hartwig.  They talked about the leadership core of the group, the chemistry they’ve been able to build, and so much more.  Check out Episode 1 of Coach’s Corner With Jennifer Martin only on YSN!

COLUMBIANA OH- What is that in the sky? It’s another edition of Columbiana Clipper Volleyball swooping in for a successful season to add to their collection. There is a tradition of success at Columbiana that has remained strong through Jennifer Martin taking the reigns. Coach Martin is back to head up another exciting group of players. With a lot of returners, Coach Martin is replacing the faces they’ve lost by putting players in new roles. This season the Clippers will certainly show off their versatility as athletes as they find new ways to shine.

Coach Martin took time out of her day to hop on to YSN’s Running Point to help us get a good preview of the Clippers season. She talks to Ty Bartell and Anthony Hartwig about what fans should be most excited about, some of the people behind her making the program great, and much more. COLUMBIANA VOLLEYBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 1) WITH JENNIFER MARTIN

COLUMBIANA OH- The Clippers volleyball program is coming of a very impressive 20 win season in 2020. They made it all the way to the district finals where they eventually fell to mineral Ridge. The Clippers lost 4 seniors, which may not sound like a ton but statistically they lost over 300 kills, their team leader in digs, and their team leader in assists. So yes, there are some key parts missing for the Clippers coming into the new season, but they do return their team leader in kills in Tori Long who finished 2020 with 229 kills. Head coach Jennifer Martin is still very optimistic about the Clippers ability to succeed in 2021. Columbiana opens the season against McDonald on Saturday August 21st.

Coach Martin took the time to hop on to YSN’s Running Point this week to preview the 2021 season. She talks with Anthony Hartwig, and Ty Bartell about replacing the missing pieces, community outreach, and much more. Episode 1 of Coach’s Corner with Jennifer Martin is live.
