NILES VOLLEYBALL CAPTAIN’S QUARTERS

NILES OH- Niles is feeling very optimistic about this volleyball season, and one of the reasons why is senior captain Logan Lewis. Logan has been a pin in the Niles program for three years, and her senior season promises to be her best. She is only 11 digs away from gathering her 1000th in her career. 1000 career kills is also within her grasp. Lewis is the emotional leader of the team and has a lot of positive energy about this season.

Logan was kind enough to come on to YSN’s Running Point this week to talk about her senior season. She talks with Anthony Hartwig, and Ty Bartell about her leadership qualities, her future goals, and so much more. BULLDOGS BREEZE THROUGH NILES

POLAND OH- The Bulldogs are starting to figure a lot of things out as we get closer to the end of the regular season. They flexed their muscles on Wednesday with a quick sweep of Niles (25-23 25-10 25-19).

Leading the way for Poland was Sarah Forsyth who finished in double digits with 10 kills. Alyssa Glaros has 16 digs, and 3 aces. Madelyn Tonas led in assists with 9. Sophia Dedo had 2 blocks.

Niles was led by Halle Snyder with 6 kills. Lauren Reed, and Logan Lewis each had 11 digs to lead the Dragons defense. Tacina Kester set up 11 assists.

Poland finishes out the regular season next Wednesday hosting South Range. Niles will close out their regular season next Wednesday traveling to Jackson Milton.
