JACKSON MILTON SOFTBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 1) WITH MARIAH CICCOLELLI

NORTH JACKSON OH- The spring weather is starting to break and we can smell the ball fields in the air. With the softball season approaching it is time to get to some season previews. Our very first one of the season comes straight out of Jackson Milton as the Blue Jays look to build off an impressive season.  The Jays like every team in northeast Ohio had to deal with a very wet spring in 2022.  They still found a way though to improve greatly on offense, and keep up their dominance in the circle.  With still plenty of talent on the pitching staff in 2023, Jackson Milton promises to be a big contender in the MVAC.  The Jays open the season March 27th vs Springfield at home.

Mariah Ciccolelli returns to the helm of the team for another fun season. She took some time to talk with YSN’s Anthony Hartwig about what this campaign could look like for Jackson Milton. Check out the first episode of Coach’s Corner with Mariah Ciccolelli only on YSN!

JACKSON MILTON SOFTBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 2) WITH MARIAH CICCOLELLI

NORTH JACKSON OH- Every team has had to dodge the crazy weather that the month of April brought to Northeast Ohio. Jackson Milton has had to navigate more than most. With multiple long pauses to the season, it’s easy to think frustration would start to loom inside the Blue Jays program. However, the seniors set the tone and kept everyone focused. And now that the Blue Jays have come out of the rain and found consistent games, they have gotten on some kind of hot streak. They took the week with a season sweep of Mineral Ridge and Waterloo. Their offense has lit up, and their pitching has always been strong. Teams better not sleep on Jackson Milton because they’re catching fire at the right time.

Head coach Mariah Ciccolelli was able to talk to the boys on Running Point about her program. She talks with Ty Bartell, and Anthony Hartwig about navigating the crazy weather, the personality of her team shining through the clouds, and much more. Don’t miss Episode 2 of Coach’s Corner with Mariah Ciccolelli

HEADED HOME: JACKSON-MILTON LADY BLUE JAYS SOFTBALL PREVIEW

NORTH JACKSON, OH – The Jackson-Milton Lady Blue Jays come into this season a very young team that surrounds four seniors in Jenna Jones, Logan Grunder, Dana Saunders, and Camryn Mitchell as the core of the team. Coach Mariah Ciccolelli believes the team is “a force to be reckoned with when they’re clicking.” Ciccolelli said. However, in-conference rivals Western Reserve and McDonald look to be stiff competition this season, making success in the MVAC anything but easy.
