EAST LIVERPOOL, OH – We are officially under 24 hours away from kicking off the 2021 high school football season as head coach, Mike McKenzie, and the Beaver Local Beavers will look to build upon last season’s success and create a buzz for the Beavers fans. Up first for the Beavers will be a home game as they will welcome Indian Valley to town on Friday night.

YSN’s own, Michael McKenzie, was able to sit down with Coach McKenzie this week to outline the upcoming season, talk about how last season effected him and his program, what he and his staff have in store for this season, and so much more!

BEAVER OH- The beavers are rolling! after a huge round 1 victory over Minerva, the Beavers now face a new test as they make the trek to Cleveland Shaw. The Beavers haven’t lost since week 1, and in each game since their offense has scored at least 36 points in every game. Head coach Mike Mckenzie has his offense rolling, and they’ll need to keep it up as they hit the road for round 2 of the playoffs against Shaw.

BEAVER LOCAL FOOTBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP. 2) WITH MIKE MCKENZIE

EAST LIVERPOOL, OH – Coming off a massive 49-0 victory over Indian Creek, Coach Mike McKenzie and the Beaver Local Beavers are looking to keep that momentum going as they will play host to Minerva on Friday night.

The voice of YSN Beaver Local, Michael McKenzie, had the opportunity to sit down with Coach McKenzie to discuss the huge win over Indian Creek, what the Beavers and his coaching staff took away from that game to help them keep winning, but also what Coach McKenzie expects from his squad this week against the Lions.

Week eight saw Coach Mike McKenzie and the Beaver Local Beavers travel down to Wintersville, Ohio to take on the Indian Creek Redskins. Unfortunately, the Beavers returned home falling just a bit short after a hard fought game. Week nine will be the start of a two game homestand to finish out the 2019 season for Beaver Local, as they will play host to the Martins Ferry Purple Riders this Friday night.

YSN’s own, Michael McKenzie, sat down with Coach McKenzie this week to discuss the Indian Creek game but also what the Beavers need to do to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Coach Mike McKenzie and the Beaver Local Beavers took on the task of traveling to Rayland, Ohio to take on the Buckeye Local Panthers and they ended up coming back home as winners with a 21-20 victory. Week eight will be another tough road test for the Beavers as they will make the trek to Wintersville, Ohio to take on the Redskins of Indian Creek.

YSN’s own, Michael McKenzie, caught up with Coach McKenzie this week to discuss what he and his staff took away from the Buckeye Local game but also what he anticipates happening as the 2019 football season starts to wrap up.

Coming off their best game of the season, a 45-12 win over Minerva, Coach Mike McKenzie’s Beavers have already silenced all doubters and turned plenty of heads.

 

There is, however, no resting on laurels for Beaver Nation. Two YSN schools are set to do battle tonight as the East Liverpool Potters come to town to take on McKenzie’s group.
