HOWLAND OH- Start flipping your calendars towards spring, and get yourself ready for softball season. The excitement is building in Howland’s program as they’ve had a very successful preseason so far.  The Tigers may have lost 6 important senior leaders to graduation, but they still have a big group of core players that are geared up for a run.  Howland’s head coach Nicole Wayt knows what it takes to develop talent.  We’ve seen her roster grow in ability in skill over their career, and it might just culminate into something special this year.

WARREN OH- The weather is starting to warm up in northeast Ohio, and that can only mean one thing! Spring sports are here! There’s plenty of reasons to get excited about the upcoming softball season in Howland.  With two pitchers returning from last year that carry a ton of experience, and a star studded line up the Tigers are going to be a force to be reckoned with.  Playing in one of the best pitching conferences in the area in the AAC won’t be easy, but that’s no reason to sleep on the striped cats from Howland.

Howland head coach Nicole Wayt returns for another season at the helm and is putting in the tinder to get this program to the top. She was kind enough to sit down with YSN’s Anthony Hartwig about the upcoming season.  They talk about what the Tigers feature in the circle, what it will be like navigating through the AAC, and much more.
