STARS TO SHINE IN 44TH PENN-OHIO FOOTBALL CLASSIC

SALEM, OH- The Bright Lights will be beaming down on some of the area’s best talent on June 22nd, as the 44th Edition of the Penn-Ohio Football All-Star game will take place LIVE from Sebo Stadium in Salem.

Team Ohio looks very promising with the amount of talent they’ve been able to bring together, as they look for back-to-back wins in the game.  The Quarterback room is especially impressive with the like of West Branch’s Dru DeShields, Salem’s Jackson Johnson, and South Range’s Billy Skripac.

The game will feature area talent from Boardman, Southern, West Branch, Salem, South Range, Toronto, Indian Creek, Valley Christian, Lisbon, Crestview, Columbiana, Edison, Springfield, and many more.

Tickets to the game can be purchased at the gate for $10 on June 22nd, or if you can’t make it, the game can be seen on YSN beginning at 7pm.

Best of luck to both teams, and congratulations on a successful career at your respective schools.

YSN SIGNS ON AS TITLE SPONSOR OF 40TH PENN-OHIO GAME

EAST PALESTINE, OH- Your Sports Network has reached an agreement with executives for the Penn-Ohio All-Star Game that will make them the presenting sponsor for the 2019 grand exhibition held each summer.  This year’s game will be held at Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania on June 26 at 7PM.

The game was streamed on YSN last year when it was held at Salem High School.  “This is our second year of involvement with what we feel is one of the most prestigious all-star football games in the country.  We’re thrilled to be more involved this year, and hope that we can continue to progress the game with our service to make it an even better experience for the student-athletes,” said YSN Founder and CEO, DJ Yokley.  “We live in an area that is a hotbed of talent for athletics of all types, it’s an honor to provide coverage for those who want more than just a highlight,”  Yokley added.

2019 will mark the 40th year of the Penn-Ohio Game, and each year the goal of the associations behind the game is to award as many scholarships as possible to student-athletes from Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.  Over the years, the QCFCA has awarded over $183,000 in scholarships from game proceeds to Ohio student-athletes.  In order to continue the area’s finest all-star game and provide continued scholarship opportunities to local athletes, local sponsorship is needed for the game.

“It’s such a great game and a great cause.  We hope this will be the beginning of a long and prosperous relationship with YSN.” said Penn-Ohio Football Classic President Tony Foster.

YSN will feature a live audio broadcast for the game and will have a tape-delayed presentation later that evening via their website and Facebook Live.
