EAST PALESTINE, OH- The excitement for the 45th annual Ohio-Pennsylvania Stateline Football Classic is building, and the kickoff dinner for Team Ohio set the stage on Sunday evening. Held at the Eagles in East Palestine, players from 22 different schools gathered with their parents to share a meal and bond ahead of the big game.
Team Ohio will be led by South Range Coach Dave Rach, with Offensive assistance from Tim Cooper of West Branch and South Range Defensive Coordinator Nico Mancuso. The final rosters will soon be released and will be available on YSNLive.com.
This year’s classic is set for June 20 at Geneva College’s Reeves Stadium in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania currently leads the overall series 29-14, including last year’s victory where they shut out Ohio in the second half to secure a 47-30 win at Salem’s Sebo Stadium. Despite last year’s loss, Ohio had won four of the last six meetings before that.
