LADY RAIDERS FALL SHORT IN PITCHER’S DUEL

Both teams were strong on the rubber on Thursday, but Mount de Sales Academy was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over South Range on Thursday. Reagan Irons started the game for South Range and recorded 11 outs.

The Raiders lost despite out-hitting Mount de Sales six to five.

Beayon was the winning pitcher for Mount de Sales. She lasted seven innings, allowing six hits and one run while striking out three and walking one.

Reagan Irons took the loss for the Raiders. She allowed four hits and two runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out two.

The Raiders racked up six hits in the game.  Julie Centofanti and Jillian Strecansky all collected multiple hits.  Jillian Strecansky and Julie Centofanti each collected two hits to lead South.  The Raiders were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Hanna Dennison had the most chances in the field with seven.

Mount de Sales was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error.  Ameur made the most plays with  six.

HELON AND DUDICH POWER RAIDERS TO SWEEP WILDCATS

South Range jumped out to an early lead over Struthers and took home an 11-1 victory on Wednesday.  South Range Raiders scored on a single by Drew Feren, a triple by Hanna Dennison, and a single by Julie Centofanti in the first inning.

South Range tallied five runs in the fourth inning.  The offensive firepower by theb Raiders was led by Maddie Helon and Kali Dudich, who each had RBIs in the inning with 2 outs, which put the Raiders in run rule territory.

Bree Kohler took the win for South Range. She went four innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out eight and walking one.  Reagan Irons threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Pezzone took the loss for Struthers. She lasted four innings, allowing ten hits and 11 runs while striking out two.

South Range collected ten hits.  Julie Centofanti and Jillian Strecansky each collected multiple hits for the Raiders.  Jillian Strecansky and Julie Centofanti each managed two hits to lead South Range Raiders.

Bayus went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Struthers in hits.

LADY RAIDERS SAIL PAST STRUTHERS

South Range defeated Struthers 15-0 on Tuesday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Reagan Irons induced a groundout from Stocker to finish off the game.

In the first inning, the Raiders got their offense started.  Marlaina Slabach grounded out, scoring one run.

The Raiders scored seven runs in the second inning.  Brooke Sauerwein, Maddie Helon, Drew Feren, and Julie Centofanti each drove in runs during the inning.

A single by Ferguson in the second inning was a positive for Struthers.

Bree Kohler was the winning pitcher for South Range. She allowed one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out two and walking one.  Reagan Irons threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Pizzone took the loss for Struthers. She lasted five innings, allowing 11 hits and 15 runs while striking out three.

South Range tallied one home run on the day. Jillian Strecansky put one out in the fifth inning.

The Raiders collected 11 hits on the day.  Hanna Dennison and Jillian Strecansky each racked up multiple hits for South Range Raiders.  Jillian Strecansky and Hanna Dennison each collected two hits to lead South Range Raiders.  South Range was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Jillian Strecansky made the most plays with  eight.

LADY RAIDERS COMEBACK FALLS SHORT AGAINST HOWLAND

CANFIELD OH- South Range Raiders effort to come back from down five runs in the sixth inning came up just short, as they fell 13-11 to Howland on Thursday.  The Raiders scored four runs in the failed comeback on a single by Drew Feren, a triple by Bree Kohler, and a sacrifice fly by Hanna Dennison.

The Raiders were right in it until Howland singled in the sixth inning.

The Raiders got on the board in the first inning.  Bree Kohler drove in one when she singled.

Howland evened things up at seven in the top of the fifth inning when Alexis Rodgers singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Raiders notched six runs in the second inning.  Raiders big bats in the inning were led by singles by Marlaina Slabach and Drew Feren, a triple by Bree Kohler, and a sacrifice fly by Hanna Dennison.

Madison Osborne led the Howland to victory on the rubber. She went seven innings, allowing 11 runs on 13 hits, striking out three and walking one.

Reagan Irons took the loss for the Raiders. She allowed seven hits and ten runs, 6 earned over five and two-thirds innings, striking out three.

South Range racked up 13 hits.  Marlaina Slabach, Drew Feren, Bree Kohler, and Jillian Strecansky each managed multiple hits for South Range Raiders.  Bree Kohler, Drew Feren, and Marlaina Slabach each collected three hits to lead the Raiders.  South Range tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Bree Kohler led the way with three.

Howland collected 12 hits.  Emily Darlington, Marissa Jerina, Alexis Rodgers, and Marissa Miller each  had multiple hits for Howland.  Emily Darlington went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Howland in hits.
