DURA EDGE SHOCKS KNIGHTLINE AND TAKES GAME 1

STRUTHERS OH- Dura Edge used momentum from their first round win to steal Game 1 of the semifinals from Knightline 4-3. Dura withstood a last minute push from Knightline, as they scored two in the final frame to cut it to 4-3.

Caleb Jones was instrumental in Dura Edge’s win going 3-4 with 2 RBI. Ryan Telesz continued his impressive postseason going 2-4 with a RBI. Anthony Malagise went 1-4 with a run scored and a RBI.

For Knightline, Anthony Massucci went 2-4 with the team’s only RBI. Gavin Shrum went 2-3 with a run scored. Seth Kristophel walked once and scored a run.

Malagise picked up the win on the mound for Dura Edge. He went 6 innings giving up 1 earned run on 5 hits. He struck out a pair.

DURA EDGE CLINCHES SERIES OVER WHITING

STRUTHERS OH- It was a very competitive game 2 between Dura Edge and Whiting Roll-Offs, but a two run 4th inning ended up being the difference in Dura’s 6-4 win. Dura Edge moves on to the next round of the playoffs.

Nick Kingerski has another good night for Dura Edge as he went 1-3 with 2 RBI. Ryan Telesz went 2-3 with 1 RBI. Tyler Rekich went 2-2 with 2 runs scored and a RBI.

Braeden D’Angelo did not go down fighting for Whiting. He went 2-3 with 3 of his team’s 4 RBI.  Ken Lavrich has the other RBI on a night where he went 2-3 with a run scored.

Four pitchers threw for Dura Edge, but Telesz picked up the victory tossing 2 innings giving up 1 run on 2 hits.

BIG BATS COME OUT FOR DURA EDGE

STRUTHERS OH- Dura Edge and Creekside combined for 29 runs on Monday night in their regular season finale. Dura Edge got the last laugh in a 16-13 win.

Ryan Telesz was a big contributor in Dura Edge’s efforts going 2-5 with 3 RBI. Braden Gebhardt went 1-2 with a run scored and 2 RBI. Nate Rynd also had 2 RBI going 1-1.

For Creekside Johnny Leedham was one of the leading hitters  going 2-3 with 3 RBI. Jack Desmond went 1-1 with a run scored and 2 RBI. Kaiden Anthony had a monster day going 1-2 with 4 RBI.

Jack Beneigh was rewarded with the win on the bump. He went 2 innings allowing 0 runs on 1 hit. He struck out a pair.

DURA EDGE MAKES IT TWO AGAINST WHITING

STRUTHERS OH- Dura Edge winter their second game of the night over Whiting Roll-Offs on Friday 12-2. They got way ahead early with eight runs in the first 2 innings.

Nate Rynd went 2-3 for Dura Edge with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI. Nick Leasure went 1-1 with a walk and 2 RBI. Ryan Telesz went 2-3 with a RBI. Tyler Rekich went 2-2 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI.

Nate Hayes went 2-3 for Whiting with a run scored. Mitch Lang went 1-2 with a RBI.

Nate Rynd earned the win on the bump for Dura Edge. He went 3 innings giving up 2 runs on 5 hits. He struck out a hitter.

DURA EDGE OVERPOWERS ROTH BROTHERS

STRUTHERS OH- Dura Edge overcame an early deficit on Tuesday to beat Roth Brothers 4-1. They held Roth to just 1 run on 1 hit. While Dura Edge scored 4 runs on 3 hits. 3 errors committed by Roth ended up being a big tipping point in this pitcher’s duel.

Brady Shannon went 1-2 in the Dura Edge win with a run scored, a walk, and a RBI. Caleb Jones went 1-3. Ryan Telesz went 1-2 with a run scored.

Alec Gryzb has the sole hit for Roth Brothers. He went 1-3. Nick Plant collected the only RBI for Roth. He went 0-2 with a walk.

Nate Rynd got the win for Dura Edge. He went 4 innings giving up 0 runs on 1 hit. He struck out 3.

DURA EDGE DECIMATES ROTH BROTHERS

STRUTHERS OH- Dura Edge was in a league of its own on Wednesday night against Roth Brothers. Dura Edge scores nine runs in the 3rd and 4th innings combined on their way to a 13-4 victory.

Brady Shannon has a very productive day at the plate for Dura Edge. He went 1-2 with 2 runs scored and 3 RBI. Ryan Telesz went 1-3 with 2 RBI.

For Roth Brothers, AJ Patellis went 1-2 with 2 RBI. Nick Plant went 2-2 with 2 runs scored. Derek Porter went 1-2 with a walk and a RBI.

Isaac Librich picked up the win toeing the rubber for Dura Edge. He went 2 innings giving up 1 earned run on 4 hits. He struck out 1.
