BALLISTIC WITHSTANDS LATE PROSPECTS PUSH

Ballistic Baseball got out to a six-run lead in the sixth inning and held on for a 7-5 victory over Prospects on Saturday.  Prospects scored five runs in the failed comeback on a single by Montgomery Hart in the sixth, a double by Cobey Airwikie in the seventh, a walk by Carter Knupp in the seventh, a single by Remington Hart in the seventh, and a walk by AJ Yost in the seventh.

Ballistic earned the victory despite allowing Prospects to score four runs in the seventh inning.  Prospects big bats were led by Airwikie, Knupp,  Hart, and Yost, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Ballistic Baseball got on the board in the first inning.  Ryan Conti singled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.

Ballistic Baseball  put up three runs in the third inning.  Ballistic Baseball 14u  big bats were led by Boston Mullinax and Conti, who all drove in runs.

Michael Chambers got the start for Ballistic Baseball. He lasted four innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out four.

Airwikie was on the mound for Prospects. He allowed six hits and six runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two. 

Ballistic Baseball tallied 13 hits on the day.  Ryan Conti, Thomas Pesa, Chambers, Mullinax, and Caleb Saterfield all had multiple hits. Pesa, and Conti each collected three hits to lead Ballistic.

Prospects racked up nine hits on the day.  Airwikie and Hart all managed multiple hits.  Airwikie led Prospects with three hits in four at bats.

WHITING HANDCUFFS BALLISTIC OFFENSE

STRUTHERS OH-

Nathan Craig shut down Ballistic, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Whiting Roll-Offs to a 11-0 victory on Saturday

Whiting  fired up the offense in the first inning.  Craig doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Whiting notched five runs in the fourth inning.  The big inning was thanks to a walk by Grant Melder, a single by Joey Pugh,  another by Cameron Foy, and an error on a ball put in play by Ben Miller.

One bright spot for Ballistic was a single by Thomas Pesa in the first inning.

Craig took the win for Whiting. He went five innings, allowing zero runs on two hits, striking out two and walking zero.

Johnny Reyes toed the rubber for Ballistic. He lasted three innings, allowing five hits and six runs while striking out one and walking one.

Pugh led Whiting with two hits in two at bats.

PROSPECTS SHOOT OUT BALLISTIC

Prospects claimed a 12-3 victory on Sunday, despite a big push by Ballistic in the fifth inning.  Thomas Pesa and Dominic Elia all drove in runs in the frame.

Cobey Airwikie took the win for Prospects. He allowed two hits and zero runs over three and a third innings, striking out five and walking one.  Michael Condoleon, Stephen Palmer, and Nico Ciminero all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.  Ciminero recorded the last out to earn the save.

Elia took the loss for Ballistic. He went three innings, allowing ten runs on 12 hits and walking one.

Prospects racked up 16 hits in the game.  Donovan McCoy, Condoleon, Palmer, Carter Knupp, Anthony Marimpietri, Airwikie, and Montgomery Hart each racked up multiple hits.  McCoy led Prospects with three hits in three at bats.

BALLISTIC GETS LAST LAUGH IN HIGH SCORING AFFAIR

STRUTHERS OH-

Bats were blistered as Ballistic Baseball defeated Youngstown Eagle Wear 11-7 on Saturday.

Eagle Wear opened up scoring in the first inning.  Caleb Saterfield’s wild pitch allowed one run to score.

Ballistic took the lead for good with ten runs in the third inning.  In the third Dom Elia drew a walk, scoring one run, Ryan Conti doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs, Thomas Pesa drew a walk, scoring one run, Tyler Wright singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run, Marquis Reynolds singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, Caleb Saterfield tripled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs, Elia singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run, and Pessa drew a walk, scoring one run.

Zach Ganser earned the win for Ballistic. He went three innings, allowing four runs on four hits and striking out three.  Matt Kay threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Nathan May took the loss for Eaglewear He lasted two innings, allowing three hits and six runs while striking out two.

Elia went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Ballistic in hits.

Eaglewear collected seven hits.  JD Memo and Dominick Ratkovich each managed multiple hits.
