GARRETTSVILLE OH- Here comes another spring sports season which means there’s a ton of excitement on the softball diamond. Garfield has been a consistently strong program over the years and this year should be no different. They certainly have some spots to fill from graduation, but they also return a ton of talent. The G-Men already play in a talented MVAC conference, and also feature a top tier non conference slate. All to prepare them for what should be a positive postseason.

Garfield head coach Tina Faulhaber took the time to help give us a solid preview of the season. They talk about the new players stepping in to big roles, the goals the team is setting this season, and so much more. Check out Episode 1 of Coach’s Corner With Tina Faulhaber exclusive on YSN.

GARRETTSVILE OH- It’s YSN’s first season covering Garfield softball, and we could not be more excited. We’ve already become familiar with some of the names that you’re going to hear on the Diamond this year through other sports. However, we are also excited to be introduced to some other fantastic athletes Garfield has to offer on the softball field. The Lady G-Men are always a competitive program, and that shouldn’t change this year. Under head coach Tina Faulhaber entering her twelfth season at the helm, everyone knows the culture and standard that is expected.

Coach Faulhaber was able to join YSN’s Running Point to give us a glimpse into Garfield softball. She talks with Ty Bartell, and Anthony Hartwig about some of the big names on her roster, her expectations of the season, and much more.
