Coming off a tough loss to the Southern Indians in week seven, Coach Tony Foster and the East Palestine Bulldogs will be ready to bounce back in week eight. The Bulldogs will hit the road and travel to Leetonia to take on their EOAC foes, the Leetonia Bears this Friday.

YSN’s D.J. Yokley, was able to sit down with Coach Foster to Bulldogs football and to get his outlook on their week eight match up against a talented EOAC team in the Leetonia Bears.

Coach Tony Foster and the East Palestine Bulldogs are officially halfway through the 2019 football season and ready to come out strong to start the second half of the season with a road match up with the Wellsville Tigers in week six.

Week four came and went in Bulldog country, as Coach Tony Foster and the Bulldogs traveled to Lisbon to take on the Blue Devils. Unfortunately the Dogs did not make it out of there with a win but Coach Foster is optimistic as always and ready to take on the Golden Eagles of United in week five.

Week three saw the Bulldogs and Coach Foster travel up to Campbell to take on the Red Devils. The Bulldogs came out strong and battled all game but unfortunately fell short. Week four will match the Bulldogs up with one of their rivals, as they will travel to Lisbon to take on the Blue Devils.

The Bulldogs were able to hang on to their lead to dethrone the Knights last week in a thriller in Toronto.  That gives East Palestine some momentum heading into Week 9 of the regular season against conference foes the Lisbon Blue Devils.

Both teams have mirrored each other much of the season battling through adversity, injuries, and transition.
