VIKINGS RUN FOR SECOND WIN IN A ROW

ATWATER OH- Waterloo is doing their best to give its players a positive step in the right direction. A 48-8 romp of East Palestine gives them their second win in a row as they continue regular-season action.

Cody Stump was able to run all over the field much like he did last week. He found pay dirt 4 times on the night. Joe Thomas had a productive night as well punching it in twice for the Vikings.

JD McBride found Tyler Bistarkey through the air before the half for their only score of the night.

Waterloo is set to match up against Matthews next week. East Palestine looks to finish out the year with Campbell Memorial and Lowellville.

A FAMILY TRADITION

EAST PALESTINE, OH- On the cusp of a new season on the hardwood, the East Palestine Bulldogs are looking to overcome a season of learning lessons this fall in favor for a season of growth with hoops this Winter.

One of the constants this year in East Palestine for boys sports is a youth movement, and one of the leaders of that movement is Sophomore, Tyler Bistarkey.

A signal-caller on the turf, this 3-sport athlete is looking to change the narrative for the Brown and White this season, and with no seniors on the squad, Bistarkey and his team have the ability to shape the future and the present at the same time.

We sat down with Tyler on the day of the Vaughn Brunson Classic to discuss hoops, family rivalries, and what he’s thankful for this year during our East Palestine Player Profile: A FAMILY TRADITION
