TEN SPARTAN SENIORS HONORED WITH WIN

BOARDMAN OH- Nadia Rawhneh was an RBI machine on Wednesday, driving in five on two hits to lead Boardman past Cardinal Mooney 14-3 on Wednesday. Rawhneh drove in runs on a single in the first and a home run in the second.

Boardman got things started in the first inning. An error scored two runs.

The Spartans scored five runs in the fourth inning. Jenna Madick, Samantha Hoffman, and Sofia Hoffman all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Madison Lester pitched Boardman to victory. Lester went five innings, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out four.

Alaina Scavina took the loss for Cardinal Mooney. The pitcher allowed 14 hits and 14 runs over four innings, striking out one.

Boardman socked one home run on the day. Rawhneh went for the long ball in the second inning.

The Spartans collected 14 hits. Dana Haus, Cassidy Bryan, Hoffman, and Rawhneh each had multiple hits. Haus led with three hits in four at bats.
