THE FLYING V’S LAST FLIGHT

BERLIN CENTER OH- Western Reserve senior middle blocker Dani Vuletich has been a big name in valley sports for the last four years. She has dominated her competition consistently over her career. Now in what seems like a blink of an eye, Vuletich enters her last go around on the volleyball court. In her senior season Dani looks to be the best leader she can be. On a team with a solid mix of seniors and underclassmen, Dani knows that there are younger players looking to her for an example.

In her career at Western Reserve Dani has played 217 sets, and racked up 728 kills. That comes out to an outstanding average of 3.4 kills per set. She’s also an efficient attacker, with a career hitting percentage of .351. Dani is a force in the front row, she has totaled 368 career blocks. She has served up 74 career aces. Dani is not a liability in the back row either, she has only made 28 serve receive errors on 221 receptions.

YSN’s Anthony Hartwig caught up with Dani to chat about her senior year. They discuss how she has grown over the years, how she leads her team, and much more. Hear from our first Blue Devil volleyball player profile “The Flying V’s Last Flight”.
