THE JAMISON SENSATION

SALEM OH- In the last four seasons, it has been hard to follow Salem girls basketball and not notice current senior Kyla Jamison. She has been a staple for the Quakers program for quite some time. She dominates the post for Salem, and she also has the ability to extend her game to the perimeter. She is not the typical size of a player who dominates the post. She finds her power in the paint from an incredible work ethic, and a confident attitude that tells her she can push any player around no matter their size. Earlier in the season,

Jamison scored her 1000th career point in a game against Poland. The bucket came in a big moment late in the contest, as Jamison gave Salem a three point lead. She says she didn’t know she hit the milestone, and was more confused why the game was being stopped. Salem had not beaten Poland Kyla’s whole career, and she was happy to get the win.

Kyla took the time to catch up with YSN’s Anthony Hartwig to chat about her senior season. They discuss her career at Salem, her future plans, and much more. Quaker fans will not want to miss this exclusive interview with a senior captain “The Jamison Sensation.”
