TIGERS CRASH MCDONALD’S STADIUM DEBUT

MCDONALD OH- It was an exciting night in McDonald as the Blue Devils opened their brand new football facilities. It was Springfield coming to town, and the Tigers looked to continue their roll through the MVAC. The Blue Devils went down the field and scored on their first drive to take a 7-0 lead. Unfortunately for them, the next 49 points of the game came from the Tigers as Springfield spoiled the new stadiums debut with a 49-7 win.

The win gave head coach Sean Guerriero his 100th win in his career. A huge milestone for one of the area’s most highly respected coaches.

Springfield moves to 5-1 on the year and will move on to week 7 as they host Waterloo. McDonald will look to get back to winning as they welcome in Western Reserve.
