TIGERS EARN STRIPES VS. CRESTVIEW

COLUMBIANA, OH-  The Crestview Rebels watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 16-2 loss to Newton Falls on Thursday. The Rebels struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Newton Falls, giving up 16 runs.  In the first inning, Newton Falls got their offense started. drawing a walk with the bases loaded, scoring one run.  Newton Falls scored five runs in the fourth inning.

Issac Rickets started the game for Crestview. He lasted one inning, allowing three hits and five runs. Tanner Daub, James Fitzgerald, Jason Hill, and Dylan Huff each entered the game as relief, throwing one and two-thirds innings, one and one-third innings, two-thirds of an inning, and one-third of an inning respectively.  Rickets led Crestview with two hits in three at-bats
