Mitchell Seymour didn’t allow a single run against Poland, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Springfield to a 4-0 victory on Friday

Springfield got things started in the first inning when AJ Stallsmith’s sac fly scored one run.

A single by Bryce Barringer in the sixth inning was a positive for Poland.

Seymour got the start for the Tigers. The righthander went seven innings, allowing zero runs on two hits, striking out 12 and walking one.

Ryan Dilullo led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Poland. The bulldog went five innings, allowing three runs on four hits, striking out three and walking one. Michael Nittoli threw two innings out of the bullpen.

Stallsmith went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Springfield in hits.
