TIGERS STAY ON THE RIGHT PATH

NEW MIDDLETOWN OH- It was a fast start the propelled Springfield to victory on Tuesday night against Western Reserve. The Tigers won the first quarter 22-12 on their way to a 72-57 win over the Blue Devils.

The Tigers had a balanced attack as they put four different players in double figures. Beau Brungard, and RJ Smith both led Springfield scoring 18 points. Adam Wharry was right behind them knocking in 17 points. Alex Rothwell contributed 12 points.

Noah Klasic put together a strong night for the Blue Devils scoring a game-high 22 points. David Altiere contributed 12 points for Reserve. David Ashburn was also in double figures scoring 11.

Springfield returns to action Friday as they travel to Waterloo to try to complete the season sweep of the Vikings. Western Reserve hits the road again as they travel to Salem on Saturday.
