TIGERS TAKE IT TO LABRAE

NEW MIDDLETOWN OH- Springfield wasted no time in their first-round tournament game, ending it by halftime with an 8-0 lead. According to OHSAA rules, an 8-goal lead at the break ends the game with a mercy rule.

Maddie Page led the charge for the Tigers with 3 goals and an assist, while Hannah Stouffer added 2 goals and an assist. Sami Shafer chipped in with a goal and an assist, and Kristina Vecchione and Kaylee Nemenz each found the net, with Nemenz scoring her first career goal. Ally Guerriero kept a clean sheet in goal.
