HOWLAND, OHIO- Alyssa Massucci was dialed in at the plate on Saturday, tallying four hits and leading Howland to a 17-7 win over Crestview.

Massucci homered in the first, doubled in the second, singled in the third, and homered in the fourth. Howland  had 13 hits in the game as Massucci, Chloe Lopez, and Alexia Spangler all managed multiple hits for Howland.

Massucci led the team at the plate with four hits in four at bats. The Tigers earned the victory despite allowing Crestview to score five runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught by Crestview was led by Katie Lissi, Chloe Stoops, Emelia Cook, and Maddy Black, who all drove in runs.

Spangler was the winning pitcher for Howland Tigers as she went five innings, allowing seven runs on eight hits, striking out six and walking one. Brooke Brubaker was in the circle for Crestview and surrendered 17 runs on 13 hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out four.

Howland will back at home on Monday to take on conference opponent Canfield at 5:00 pm. Crestview will look to pick up another conference win when they play Labrae on Monday at 5:00 pm.
