TIMELY HITS ELUDE SOUTH RANGE

RAVENNA OH- It is never east to get through tournament play. South Range learned that lesson the tough way on Wednesday as they fell to Tuslaw in the regional semifinals 6-1. As the game developed the Raiders put plenty of traffic on the base paths. Unfortunately for them, they couldn’t get that big hit with runners on. Tuslaw did just that and slowly built their lead on their way to a 6-1 victory.

Juli Stachowicz was responsible for the only run of the game with a solo home run. She was 1-3.  Jayli Wilt went 1-2 on the day.  Kelly Szolek also went 1-2. Raegan Irons walked twice, and Jamie Feren was hit by a pitch.

Sam Susany got the start in the circle. She went 5.2 IP and gave up 3 earned runs on 7 hits.  She struck out 5.

South Range ends their season with a record of 22-7. They graduate Raegan Irons and Taylor Smesko from the varsity roster.
