UNITED CRUSHES BULLDOGS AT HOME

HANOVERTON, OH- East Palestine held court for the first eight minutes of the game against EOAC rival, United, but every moment of that was owned by United en route to a 71-14 victory on Saturday night.

The Eagles led by only four after the first quarter but exploded for 23, 22, and 15 to close out the game while holding East Palestine to seven points the rest of the contest.

Nate Miller led the way for United with 19, as well as a highlight alley-oop dunk off the glass from Brutus Ogilvie.  Steffen Jarrett complimented the efforts by Miller with 13 points of his own.  Keaton Baker would add 9 of his own.

East Palestine’s leading scorer was Tyler Bistarkey with 8, and Weston Jones with five.

The Bulldogs will head to Wellsville on January 29th to search for their first victory.
