UNITED GIVES REBELS AN EARLY EXIT

COLUMBIANA, OHIO- The Crestview Rebels stayed in it until the end, but the United Eagles pulled away late in a 4-1 victory on Wednesday.

The game was tied at one with the Eagles batting in the top of the fifth when Louden Stryffeler singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run. The Rebels got fired up the offense in the first inning when Ethan Feezle singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Then in the top of the third inning, the Eagles tied things up at one when Stryffeler grounded out, scoring one run.

Hahlan took the win for United as the pitcher lasted seven innings, allowing four hits and one run while striking out eight and walking one.

Feezle went 2-for-3 to lead things at the plate and also took the loss for the Rebels as the righty lasted five innings, allowing three hits and four runs while striking out seven and walking one.

The Eagles will now advance to the Division III District Semi-Final to take on Labrae.
