URSULINE BASEBALL COACH'S CORNER (EP 1) WITH MATT WEYMER

YOUNGSTOWN OH- Ursuline baseball might just be one of the most decorated baseball programs in the area. They always seem to be in the front of the conversation come tournament time in May. After waiting two years to play, the Irish are striving to live up to that standard in 2021. The Irish are off to 2-3 start to the season. They lost a Saturday double header to open the season against Howland, and St Ed’s. The Irish bounced back with back to back wins over Chaney, and LaBrae, before losing on Saturday to Walsh Jesuit. The Irish move on to travel to West Branch on Tuesday.

Irish skipper Matt Weymer took time out of his busy week to update YSN’s Running Point on the Irish squad. He chats with Ron Potesta about his team’s start to the season, what some of the expectations are in the 2021 campaign, and much more.
