URSULINE GETS BACK ON TRACK

WARREN, OH- Ursuline traveled to Warren to face the Warren Harding Raiders in a night celebrating the 1972 Warren Western Reserve championship. The Irish would spoil the party. Scoring 28 points after being down 7 points in the first quarter. Quarterback Jack Ericson would have 3 combined touchdowns in the winning effort.

Warren Harding would strike first with a 53 yard touchdown run by Quarterback Dalys Jett made the game 7-0 in the first quarter. The Irish would answer in the second quarter with a 5 yard touchdown run by Running Back Christian Lynch tied the game at 7. Ursuline would take the lead when Quarterback Jack Ericson faked a handoff and found Wide Receiver Will Burney on a slant route for a 9 yard touchdown pass. The Fighting Irish go into the locker room with a 14-7 lead.
The second half was all Ursuline. Ericson would account for two more touchdowns. One through the air and one on the ground. Jett would make it interesting in the fourth quarter with a 10 yard touchdown run. Ursuline wins 28-14.The Raiders will host Akron St. Vincent St. Mary’s while the Fighting Irish will travel to Rayen Stadium to face Chaney. Catch both games live on YSNLIVE.com.
