VALLEY’S WINGS CLIPPED BY INDIANS

CAMPBELL, OHIO. The Southern Indians traveled to John Knapick Field to take on the Valley Christian Eagles. Southern flexed to stay atop the EOAC with a 46-22 win.

In the first half in was all Southern as they blanked the Eagles 46 to 0 in the first half as the eagles offense struggled to get moving and had and couple of turnovers that were returned for touchdowns.

The eagles led by veteran head coach Andy Hake came out in the second half and blanked the Indians 22 to 0 as the offense led by quarter back Joey Battista, wide receiver Veshun Gurley, and running back Cameron Davenport scored on multiple drives in the second half.

Unfortunately as the Eagles were down by more than 30 points at half the running clock began and time just simply ran out of the Eagles as they fall 46-22 to the Southern Indians.
