Crestview Stings South Range to Remain Perfect.

(Columbiana, OH) South Range(3-1) traveled down the road to Crestview(2-0) to take on their former league foe. The Rebels started hot out of the gate and did not let up until the third frame where they faced a bit of adversity from the Lady Raiders. Until that point, South Range was unable to strand more than two points together at a clip.

The Lady Rebs were able to sweep the sets 3-0, mainly due to the efforts of Captain MacKenzie Daub, and Juniors Natasha Salmen and Emily Emch. Emch guarded the net all night and had several key blocks along with bringing the hammer for numerous spikes on the evening. Salmen brought her shovel, as she was able to dig the Rebels out of danger throughout the night. Interestingly enough for Coach Auer’s squad: They have yet to lose a set this year.

The Lady Rebs add to the win column, and remain undefeated on the young campaign, and will host Alliance Saturday. Meanwhile, South Range will look to reset and stay above .500 as they prepare to head to Ursuline.
