WAID COMMITS TO FORDHAM

GIRARD, OH-  One of the area’s top quarterbacks is off the board for college recruiters in the nation.  Girard’s field general, Mark Waid has committed verbally to Fordham, and intends to become a Ram after completion of his senior year.

The standout on the field and in the classroom had official offers from Dartmouth, Robert Morris, and Harvard before deciding on Fordham.

Waid broke the Trumbull County passing record in 2017 for total yards in a single season and racked up 56 total TD’s.

Mark broke the news on Twitter Tuesday evening:

Good luck, Mark.  We’re looking forward to seeing you play at the next level, but how about a few more Girard records before you go?
