WARRIORS BLAST THEIR WAY TO ANOTHER WIN

LEAVITTSBURG, OHIO- Brookfield had no trouble on offense today as they unloaded 21 hits in the big win over LaBrae 17-2.

The Warriors put up seven runs in the fifth inning as the offensive firepower was led by Cadence Huffman, Sophia Hook, Katie Logan, and Abby DeJoy, all driving in runs in the frame. The Warriors launched one home run on the day when DeJoy went deep in the fifth inning for her eighth homerun of the season.

Miranda Nicholson was credited with the victory for the Warriors as the pitcher went five innings, allowing two runs on six hits and striking out five.

Vada Allen had multiple hits and also took the loss for LaBrae in the circle as Allen lasted four innings, allowing 14 hits and ten runs while striking out one.

LaBrae will try and split the regular season with Brookfield when they go up against them on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m.
