WARRIORS DO ENOUGH TO MOVE ON

BELOIT OH- It was a low scoring affair on Thursday night in the Division II sectional championship between West Branch and Perry. In the end, 2 runs was more than enough for Jordan Anderson who threw a shutout to lead the Warriors to a 2-0 win.

Anderson struck out 17 Panthers on her way to a shutout victory. She scattered 4 hits in the 7 innings of work. She walked 3 hitters.

Sydney Mercer was the only player of the game to have multiple hits. Mercer went 2-3 with a double. Ashley Blake went 1-3 with a RBI. Jordan Anderson also went 1-3.  Jaci Thomas also picked up a RBI sac bunt.

West Branch advances to the Jefferson district semifinals. They will play Aurora on Tuesday at the Jefferson Little League Complex. First pitch is slated for 4:30.
