WARRIORS DROP BEAVER FALLS ON THE BASEPATHS

BESSEMER, PA- Mohawk easily dispatched Beaver Falls 10-1 on Friday

The Warriors got things moving in the first inning, when J.C. Voss singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

Mohawk notched three runs in the second inning. A.J. Verdi had an RBI sacrifice fly in the inning to lead the run-scoring.

Brady Harman earned the win for Mohawk. The pitcher went three innings, allowing one run on zero hits and striking out five. Cooper Vance and Jacob Werner entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Jacob Barnes took the loss for Beaver Falls. The pitcher went five and two-thirds innings, allowing eight runs on 11 hits and striking out one.

The Warrior offense collected 14 hits. Harman, Vance, Verdi, Voss, and Lucas Cummings all managed multiple hits. Harman went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Mohawk in hits.
