WARRIORS FAST WITH THE CHARGE

BESSEMER PA- Mohawk bested Riverside, 61-34 on Friday to improve to 12-3 on the season and 6-1 in 3A 1 play, remaining in second place in the conference.
Bobby Fadden and Vinny Pezzuolo scored six points each in the first quarter to kickstart the Warriors offense and give them a 14-7 lead.
Drew Wrona led the charge for the Warriors in the second quarter, scoring nine points and shooting 6-6 from the free throw line, to lift the Mohawk to a 37-14 lead at halftime.
Joey Nail came out firing in the third quarter, scoring 10 points to help boost the Warriors’ lead to 53-29 going into the final frame.
Mohawk’s reserves entered the game in the fourth quarter to finish off the Panthers.
The Warriors had four players finish in double figures, with Joey Nail scoring 18, Vinny Pezzuolo scoring 14, Bobby Fadden scoring 13, and Drew Wrona scoring 12.
They will hit the road on Tuesday for another 3A 1 matchup with New Brighton.
