WARRIORS SURVIVE SCARE FROM HOWLAND

BELOIT OH- West Branch moves to 6-0 with a big win over Howland.

Dru DeShields lead the Warrior offense with 283 yards passing on 18 of 24 attempts. He also ran 13 times for 92 yards and 3 touchdowns. Nick Wilson had 9 catches for 150 yards and a touchdown. Jaxon Hendershott had 1 catch for 43 yards and a touchdown. Christian Martig had 3 receptions for 37 yards. Jed Smith had 2 receptions for 27 yards. Steven Marra had 3 receptions for 26 yards and 77 yards rushing on 18 carries. He also lead the defense with 9 tackles. Nick Wilson had a key fumble recovery with less than 2 minutes left in the game to seal the victory.

Matt Woomer, and Luca Massucci were a dangerous pair in the Tigers run game. Massucci finished with 125 yards on the ground, while Woomer collected 117.

The Warriors are at home next Friday against Carrollton in a battle for first place in the EBC conference. Howkand’s week 7 game against East has been canceled by East. The Tigers ae actively looking for an opponent.
