WARRIORS USE BIG INNING TO PULL AWAY

BELOIT, OHIO – West Branch started off their season with a bang Tuesday night, thanks to an all around performance they took down Cardinal Mooney 11-1.

West Branch opened up the scoring in the first inning, however the fourth inning was the big one as the Warriors erupted for five runs. Hunter Shields, Aaron Tucker, and Boston Mulinix all had two hits a piece as the team totaled nine hits. Beau Alazaus went the distance on the mound, pitching five innings, allowing eight hits and only one earned run. Alazaus also drove in two runs on offense.

West Branch will be back at it tomorrow for a road contest against Ursuline. First pitch will be thrown at 5:00 p.m.
