WATTS FINDS PERFECTION AT THE BEACH

Sophomore pitching phenom Sydnie Watts threw an 11 strikeout perfect game as Fitch rolled over Elizabeth Seton 17-0 in Thursday’s matchup in the Grand Strand tournament in Myrtle Beach.

The undefeated Lady Falcons racked up 17 runs on 15 hits while Watts and McKenna Hogan combined for the shutout and rare perfect game. The duo also took part in the offensive barrage with Hogan hitting a double with three RBIs as well as getting on base on a walk with Watts adding two RBIs on two hits and two walks.

Abby Toth smacked a home run and and had four RBIs while Samantha Severn belted a homer of her own and was credited with two RBIs. Kylie Folkwein chipped in with a triple and two RBIs while Ayla Ray got on the books with a single and a triple.

The 10-0 Lady Falcons will wrap up their Myrtle Beach trip Friday against Mount de Sales Academy (MD) with first pitch set for noon.
