WEST BRANCH BRINGS THEIR DEFENSE TO GIRARD

GIRARD OH- West Branch braved the cold Saturday and locked in defensively, shutting down Girard 40-25 in a solid tune-up for tournament time. The Warriors’ defense was suffocating, holding the Indians to just 7 first-half points.

Tallie Muniz led West Branch with 10 points, while Mati Hawk added 9. Audrey Eaton chipped in 7, and Ellie Tucker finished with 6. For Girard, Makenzee White dropped 10, Ally Gassman scored 6, and Gianna Shubert added 5.

West Branch has one last test before the postseason, hosting Howland on Monday. Girard wraps up conference play that same night with a trip to Poland.
