WILSON SETTING UP RECORDS

COLUMBIANA OH- Heartland Christian senior volleyball player Lydia Wilson set the program record for career assists in the second set of their first match at South Range. With 2,007 assists and counting Lydia runs the Lions offense masterfully.

Wilson averages 8.9 assists per set in her career, that ends up being 26.7 assists per three sets.  Lydia puts up stats in other categories as well. She has over 500 career digs. She has also served up 178 aces to this point. She also has over 100 kills in her career.

Lydia has a tougher job than most as a senior leader. In 2020 with the uncertainty of COVID-19 seniors everywhere have had to keep their teams mentally sharp. Lydia has done a great job keeping everyone positive and motivated throughout the summer.

Anthony Hartwig got the chance to catch up with Lydia to talk about her record setting moment, being a senior leader, and much more. The Pride of Heartland Christian should enjoy this inside look at the new program assists leader Lydia Wilson.
