WILT WRITES HER NAME ON TO TRI-C
CANFIELD OH- South Range’s Jayli Wilt is headed to the next level. The ace for the Raiders made it official, signing to continue her softball career at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C). One of the toughest arms in the area, Jayli’s been a problem for hitters since the moment she stepped into the circle as a freshman—and now she’s taking that game to the college stage.
Jayli’s resume is stacked. In 2024, she earned First Team NE8, First Team All-District, and Second Team All-State honors. She also broke the school record for most wins in a single season, while punching out 222 batters her junior year alone. She’s been the heartbeat of a South Range program that’s been a force in the postseason—regional finalist as a freshman, state semifinalist as a sophomore, and state runner-up as a junior. She’s got the fire and the fight every coach wants in a leader.
Off the field, Jayli puts in just as much work. She’s involved in FTA (Future Teachers of America), FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), and Key Club—proving she’s got just as much drive in the classroom and community as she does between the lines.
YSN gives a big-time shoutout to Jayli Wilt for everything she’s already accomplished. Good luck in your senior season and all the best as you take your talents to Tri-C! Keep dealing.
