HANOVERTON OH- United golf is a fairly new program, but boy has it seen a ton of success in a small period of time. One of the headliners in the program this season is junior Mati Zines. Mati had had a career full of accolades, but this year especially she is racking in the ribbons. Here are just a few of her accomplishments so far in her career at United.

1)      1st Girls District qualifier
2)      18 hole record 87 (broke 2022)
3)      9 hole record 40 (broke 2022)
4)      All EOAC boys team
5)      Greatest Golfer of the Valley Championship Qualifier
6)      Greatest Golfer of the Valley Par 3 and Long drive finalist

1)      18 hole school record 79
2)      9 hole school record 1 over 37
3)      1st place Mahoning Valley Girls invitational @ Salem Hills
4)      T2 – Alliance Girls invitational @ Alliance CC
5)      1st place Squaw Creek Greatest Golfer of the Valley qualifier
6)      1st place Tam O Shanter Greatest Golfer of the Valley Qualifier
7)      2nd Place Salem Hills Greatest Golfer of the Valley Qualifier
8)      18 hole average = 83.1
9)      9 hole average = 38.1
10)   Greatest Golfer of the Valley Long Drive and Par 3 finalist. (par 3) – 2nd place finish.
