YOUNG BULLDOG TEAM CONTINUES TO GROW IN VICTORY

NEW WATERFORD, OH- Western Reserve fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 9-2 loss to East Palestine on Thursday.

The Blue Devils lost despite out-hitting East Palestine four to three.

Moraski was credited with the victory for East Palestine. The hurler lasted seven innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out seven and walking one.

Jack Darney took the loss for Western Reserve. The pitcher allowed one hit and six runs over three innings, striking out four.

Brock Wellman, Darney, Parker Reed, and Gavin Beniston each managed one hit to lead Western Reserve Blue Devils Varsity.

Beatty and Culler led East Palestine offensively, each pushing across a pair of RBI in the win.
