ZENTNER: THE CHAMPIONSHIP HUNTER

You’d be hard-pressed to find a more humble, kind, yet determined student-athlete than Columbiana Sophomore, Hunter Zentner.  Speaking with him, he’s a soft-spoken, very “We over Me” type individual.  So much so, that it was hard for him to find credit to provide himself during his interview.  We talked to Hunter following a 3-0 win over EOAC rival, Southern Local.  A game where he led his Clipper teammates offensively, going 2-3 with a single down the line, and a mashed double over the left fielders head-just missing a four-bagger.  A game where he also tracked down a ball defensively that ended the Indian scoring threat late in the contest.

After all that, you’ll still find that Zentner is quick to credit his team, his coaches, and his family.  Specifically citing that being the centerfielder for the Clippers, there’s a constant reminder right behind him on the fence that he would like to match his fathers walk, and help this Clipper team become State Finalists once again.
