CORTLAND OH- Lakeview’s volleyball team demonstrated their dominance in the sectional semifinals, delivering a stunning 3-0 sweep over Pymatuning Valley. The match was marked by Lakeview’s relentless performance, with set scores of 25-6, 25-6, and 25-10.

The individual stats for Lakeview players highlight the team’s well-rounded approach and impressive contributions. Addy Allen played a crucial role, earning 14 service points. Mallory Mailach showcased her skill with 5 aces, adding to the team’s strong service game. Reagan Price was a force to be reckoned with, tallying 14 kills and providing a significant offensive presence. Mallory Mailach orchestrated the team’s offense brilliantly, with 35 assists to her name, setting up her teammates effectively.

Annaliese DeJulio managed to secure a block, showcasing the team’s defensive capabilities. In the backcourt, Mara Schmader and Addy Allen both contributed 5 digs, highlighting the strong defensive effort by Lakeview’s players.

Lakeview advances to the sectional final on Saturday against Brookfield at 6:00. That game will be at Lakeview
