LAKEVIEW GETS A PINK SWEEP

CORTLAND OH- It was a special night in Lakeview as the two NE8 Bulldogs came together for a worthy cause.  It was time to “Spike Cancer” in Lakeview’s annual pink game. Lakeview would spike all night and run away with the sweep of Poland.  (25-16 25-16 25-11)

Tara Lytle took the lead on offense warning 15 kills on the night.  The setters for Lakeview were on point this night as Maggie Pavlansky and Mallory Mailach both finished with 30 assists.  Maddie Bayus picked up the defensive lead with 18 digs.

Poland’s offense was led by Olivia Mineheart who finished with 6 kills.  Bella Khoury led the Bulldogs in digs with 8.

Lakeview will be off this weekend before returning to action Tuesday as they travel to Jefferson.  Poland ventures outside the league on Monday as they host Springfield.
