What sets her apart is her uncanny ability to consistently position herself on the floor and move with a grace that leaves her peers in awe.

But it’s not just her physical prowess that makes Ragan special. It’s her ability to communicate and lead on the court that truly distinguishes her. The West Branch coaching staff is fortunate to have what is essentially another coach on the floor in Ragan. Her tactical understanding of the game and her capacity to inspire and direct her teammates are qualities that are rare in a player of her age.

Now, the tables have turned, and it’s the younger players who aspire to follow in her footsteps. ITS SO EASY BEING GREEN

BELOIT OH- West Branch has plenty new additions to their softball squad this season. One of the bright stars that is a new arrival is freshman Ragan Greeneisen.

Ragan has already made herself a solid spot at the top of the Warriors lineup. She has proven to have a high on base percentage and is great at setting the table for the awesome power hitters a little further down the lineup.  She is also stepping into the middle infield, which is a tough place to be thrown into. Her glove is impressive, and reliable which is key for playing second base. She is clearly a front runner for the conversation of the best new faces in the YSN softball family.

Ragan isn’t the only Greeneisen on the team. Her sister Skyler is venturing into her final year with the Warriors. And there is no one better at keeping Ragan on track than Skyler. They have a fun dynamic, that may include some butting of heads but at the end of the day it is built on love and respect for each other’s craft. You can bet that Skyler’s influence is a big ingredient to Reagan’s immediate impact on the team.

Ragan took time to talk with YSN’s Anthony Hartwig this week to discuss what it’s been like to come on to such a successful program. She also talks about her relationship with Skyler, her busy sports schedule, and much more. Don’t miss this exclusive West Branch softball player profile!
