CREEKSIDE DECLAWS EAGLE WEAR

STRUTHERS OH- Creekside trailer Eagle Wear early as Eagle Wear scores 2 in the first. Creekside got their offense going in the 3rd when they scored 4, once the dams broke the runs kept coming as Creekside rolled to a 12-2 win.

Grant Voytovich has a big day going 3-4 with 3 RBI. Anthony Sherwin went 2-4 with 4 RBI.

Jack Pawlowicz went 2-3 with a RBI for Eagle Wear. Matt Worner went 1-3 with a run scored.

Will Jamison got the win on the mound for Creekside. He went 4 innings giving up 2 earned runs on 5 hits. He struck out 5.

KNIGHTLINE BURNS OUT BALLISTIC

STRUTHERS OH- Knightline scores early to take a lead with 2 runs in the top of the first inning on Thursday. Their pitching did the rest of the work as they held the Ballistic offense in check the rest of the game. They added another 3 runs for good measure in the 7th.

Nathan Meeks went 4-5 on the day with a RBI for Knightline. Brett Bobin went 1-4 with 2 RBI, and 2 runs scored.

Matt Dubois went 1-2 for Ballistic. Tanner Egli went 1-3.

Bobin was masterful on the mound for Knightline. He went 7 innings giving up 0 runs on just 2 hits. He struck out 8.

WHITING ROLL-OFFS TAKE CARE OF AVALANCHE

STRUTHERS OH- The Whiting Roll-Offs didn’t need too much offense to beat the Avalanche. They used timely hitting to score just enough to support an awesome pitching performance in a 4-1 win.

Dante Micaletti went 1-4 with 2 RBI for the Roll-Offs. Ken Lavrich went 2-2 with a walk and a RBI.

Ethan Mannon had the lone RBI for Avalanche. He walked. Devin Daniels went 1-1 with a walk.

Braeden D’Angelo got the win on the mound for Whiting. He went 3 innings, gave up 1 earned run and just 2 hits. He struck out 4.

Nick Ondo went 4 innings for Avalanche. He struck out 8. Giving up 3 earned runs on 6 hits.

KNIGHTLINE WINS PITCHER’S DUEL

STRUTHERS OH- Offense was hard to come by on Wednesday night between Knightline and Ballistic Baseball. The two teams combined for 3 hits. Knightline was able to scratch across two runs in the final two innings to give themselves enough room to win 3-0.

Gavin Mauger went 1-1 for Knightline with a run scored. Mikey Scortino went 1-3.

For Ballistic Dalton Curron got the team’s only hit going 1-3. JR Prossen walked.

Jake Corll got the win on the mound for Knightline. He pitched 4 innings giving up 0 runs on only 1 hit. He struck out 5.

Marc Conti pitched well in the loss for Ballistic. He went 5 innings and gave up 0 earned runs on 1 hit and struck out 4.

AVALANCHE GRABS EARLY MOMENTUM POUNDS PROSPECTS

STRUTHERS OH- Avalanche jumped on Prospects early on Wednesday scoring six runs in the first two innings on route to a 10-6 win.

Ethan Mannon went 3-3 for Avalanche with a run scored and 2 RBI. DJ Donatelli went with 1-2 with a RBI and a run scored.

For the Prospects, Jared Liepheimer went 3-3 with 2 RBI. Peyton Koss went 1-2 with a RBI. Jake Dohy went 2-2 with a walk and 2 runs scored.

Collin Brainard got the win for Avalanche on the mound. He went 5 innings giving up 2 runs on 5 hits.  He struck out a pair.

REED NO HITS CREEKSIDE

STRUTHERS OH- Josh Reed was untouchable on Wednesday night as he tossed 7 no hit innings. Dura Edge’s offense gave Reed plenty of room to work as they scored in 5 out of the 7 innings played. They’re big inning was a 4 spot in the bottom of the 4th.

Jarrod Malagise went 2-3 for Dura Edge with a RBI and 2 runs scored. Parker Lyons went 2-2 with a walk, and 2 runs scored.

Robert Verba for Creekside was Reed’s only walk on the day.

Reed gave up 0 runs and 0 hits in 7 innings. He struck out 7 and only walked 1.

ASTRO FALCONS START STRONG AND DONT LOOK BACK

STRUTHERS OH- Things we’re looking bright for Whiting Roll-Offs on Wednesday as they put up a 4 spot in the top of the 1st against Astro Falcons. But that feeling went away fast when the Falcons answered with 7 in the bottom of the inning. The Falcons scored four more in the 2nd on their way to a 14-6 victory.

Tino Campoli went 3-4 for the Falcons with 2 RBI and 3 runs scored. Patrick Sullivan went 1-1 with a walk, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI.

Kevin Lavrich went 1-1 for Whiting, with 2 walks, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI. Braeden D’Angelo went 1-3 with RBI.

William Morrow got the win for the Falcons. He pitched 4 innings giving up 1 run on 2 hits and striking out 6.

EAGLE WEAR SCORES LATE TO SHOCK ROTH BROTHERS

STRUTHERS OH- The game on Wednesday night between Roth Brothers and Eagle Wear was tied at 2 heading into the sixth inning. Roth Brothers struck for 2 in the top of the inning, seemingly taking control of the game, but Eagle Wear stormed back with 3 in the bottom to steal the victory 5-4.

Deshawn Gunther-Putnam went 1-3 for Eagle Wear with 2 RBI. Ryan Hooper went 1-3 with a RBI as well. Ian Barton got on base every at bat going 1-1 with 2 walks. He also scored a run.

Chance Laczko went 1-2 a walk and 2 RBI. Zach Pleska went 1-2 with a walk and a run scored. He added a RBI.

Barton pitched well for Eagle Wear. He gave 0 earned runs on 3 hits in 5 innings. He also struck out 7.

 

FALCONS LET LOOSE ON DURA EDGE

STRUTHERS OH- The Astro Falcons had to be frustrated coming off of their 2-2 tie with Prospects. Well they took out their frustrations on Dura Edge with a bruising 10-2 victory. The Falcons sprinkled their 10 runs between the 3rd-6th innings.

Ben Slanker went 2-3 for the Falcons with 2 RBI. Patrick Sullivan went 1-2 with a pair of RBI.

Parker Lyons went 1-2 with a RBI for Dura Edge. Sam Scharville mirrored that stat line himself.

Tino Campoli got the win on the mound for the the Falcons. He pitched 5 innings and gave up 0 earned runs on 2 hits. He struck out 5 and walked only 1.

 

KNIGHTLINE BLANKS AVALANCHE

STRUTHERS OH- Knightline was all over the Avalanche on Sunday shutting them out 6-0. It was a straight up pitcher’s duel until Knightline shocked the Avalanche with six runs in the top of the 7th inning.

Vince Scortino went 1-2 for a Knightline with 2 RBI. Mason McCurdy went 1-1 with a RBI and a walk. He also scored a run.

On a tough day for the Avalanche offense Derek Franken went 1-2. Mikial Torres also went 1-2 on the day.

Brett Bobin went the distance for Knightline. He gave up 0 runs on 2 hits and struck out 7.

Marshal Weinberg pitched well for Avalanche going 3 innings, giving up no runs on 3 hits. He struck out 4.
