CANFIELD’S OFFENSE WAY TOO MUCH

HUBBARD OH- Canfield’s baseball team put on an offensive showcase on Monday night, overpowering Hubbard in a commanding 13-4 win.

The Canfield offense came out swinging, with several players making significant contributions at the plate. Ryan Weibling led the charge, going 3-4 with four RBIs and crossing the plate three times himself. Zain Jadallah also had a stellar game, going 3-4 with three RBIs and scoring twice. David Murphy added to the onslaught with a 2-5 performance, driving in three runs.

On the mound, Michael Patellis delivered a solid performance for Canfield, pitching five innings and allowing just four hits while keeping Hubbard’s offense scoreless in terms of earned runs. Patellis also recorded five strikeouts to keep the Hubbard batters at bay.

Despite facing a tough opponent, Hubbard managed to put up some offense of their own. Andrew Kali drove in two runs, while Gabe Rusnak and Johnny Reyes each contributed with an RBI.

However, it wasn’t enough to overcome Canfield’s offensive onslaught, as the Cardinals secured a decisive victory to continue their strong season.

With this win, Canfield maintains their momentum and looks ahead to their next challenge on the baseball diamond.
